APTObase gauge management system interface

A machine-readable interface (JSON REST API) is available for connecting third-party systems to APTObase. The current test equipment information can be retrieved via this interface and processed directly in third-party systems.

The interface can be used to load the current data from APTObase at any time and process it in the respective third-party system. Two endpoints are available: One for loading a paged list with all available test equipment and the most important information, and one for loading the detailed information of a specific test equipment. The detailed information can be loaded via the internal ID (visible in the test equipment list).

We can currently offer interested customers read-only access to this interface. Specific write functions could also be enabled on request; however, for quality assurance reasons, these are limited to functions that do not affect the operating status of the test equipment.

The REST API of APTObase has already been used to integrate SAP, Opac, label printers and an automated warehouse system.

Special access data is required to use the API. These access data can be requested from APTOMET AG by interested customers. OAuth 2 with resource owner password credentials is required to authenticate third-party systems.

For third-party systems that do not support external JSON REST APIs, it is possible to provide a programme for the automatic export of a CSV file. This programme can be executed automatically on a daily basis, for example, and the resulting CSV file can be imported into the target system. This allows daily updated data to be displayed in the target system.
